Program Description

Curriculum:

This course broken into three parts: Psilocybin Guiding, Psilocybin Microdose Coaching and Somatic Breathwork Training.

Our comprehensive 12-week course is structured to provide a rigorous and immersive learning experience. The program begins with three weeks of virtual live teachings. During this initial phase, emphasis is placed on understanding and implementing essential components within a Psychedelic Support Service, such as Intake Protocols, Screening Processes, Contraindications, Psilocybin 101, Ethical Considerations and how to guide clients through the Psychedelic Preparation Process. Students not only prepare themselves for their upcoming journeys but also gain insights into effectively supporting their future clients.

Following the virtual classes, the fourth week is a five-day, in-person intensive retreat held in Peoria, AZ. This in-person week is where the magic happens. Students will learn guiding practices and principles under the guidance of seasoned professionals. Throughout the week, students engage in multiple psilocybin journeys, gaining firsthand experience and cultivating proficiency in guiding others through similar experiences. During this week, students will receive printed program materials, including Preparation and Integration Workbooks, the Psilocybin Guide Handbook, Microdose Journal, Client Feedback Forms, among other various resources. The curriculum also covers emergency protocols, trauma-informed care, sex and psychedelics, cultural appropriation, and techniques for accessing deeper states of healing within the psychedelic experience. See list below for full curriculum load.

In the fifth and sixth weeks, students return to a virtual format to learn about Integration, creating individualized Integration Sessions for clients, and tools to help clients maximize their window of opportunity post-journey. These weeks also serve as an opportunity for students to reinforce their understanding of previously covered protocols while acquiring new skills and insights to enhance their practice.

After completing the virtual training sessions in the sixth week, students will gather as a class for ongoing support check-ins. These check-ins occur weekly over the course of six weeks, specifically tailored for Microdose Coach training. This is where students learn proper microdosing protocols and how to incorporate Microdose Coaching into their offerings. Additionally, this time serves as an opportunity for students to address any questions related to their practice and clients.
